Road Maintenance

The number one priority for Township government is maintenance of the gravel roads.  Middleville township has 53 miles of gravel roads it maintains.  It has one full time employee dedicated to this task.    Maintenance of gravel roads requires a number of pieces of equipment to get the job done such as:  Road Grader, Packer, Dump Truck, Road Groomer, Recovery disc, Tractor, mower, Michigan loader, etc.  Each year certain roads are targeted for additional gravel to be added to the roads to keep the base thick enough to support the traffic on the roads.

Listed below are the township records as to what roads got additional work done on them, including culvert work/replacement, etc.
